Welcome to Footy4Fun

Thanks for the support

After a successful trip in September i would like to thank everyone for the support. This year I will be sending a crate full of stationary, football kits, trainers and boots, I will then return to Kenya in 2016, If anyone has any items they would like to donate please contact me, they will go to very good use.

Help us to build a school in Kenya

In September 2014 Richard will be taking a team of 22 coaches from Footy4Fun and Reading Football Club to Kenya.  Whilst there they will be staying in one of the most poverty stricken areas to help the local community to build a new school.  They will also be putting on football sessions for the children and helping to improve their reading and writing skills.

To get there and accomplish their goals they need to raise a staggering £32,000!  To help raise this money they will be putting on a charity Footy4Fun course in April.  Hillside will kindly be donating the pitch for free and all those wishing to attend will be asked to make a minimum donation of £5.

If you wish to make a donation in the meantime please click on the link below

Footy4fun will be back at Hillside Primary School for the February course and from there on be based at either Hillside and Goals as the two main venues for Footy4Fun courses.

Hillside have built a brand new ASTRO-TURF at the school (pictured below) which is another reason why Footy4Fun will be back.

Kenya Trip 2009

After my recent trip to Kenya with Reading FC and the Premier League, I witnessed the terrible conditions that the children have to play in. I have now formed a link to send over any unwanted football boots, trainers and kit. It will be put to great use and they are in huge need of the support we can give. I've already received a large amount of kit to send over and I'd like to thank Jill Crow in particular for her kind generosity. The next step is to raise the money to pay for the postage to get the kit out there...

Please contact me if you have any unwanted training kit or would like to make a donation to get the kit out to Kenya.
